We are one of Sweden's largest property owners and experts in fortification, which means protection and construction technology. We own, develop, and manage defense properties. With us, you contribute to something of the utmost importance – a safe and free Sweden.

Your everyday life – strengthening Sweden's total defense

Region North manages the Fortifications Agency's property portfolio in Sweden's four northernmost counties: Norrbotten, Västerbotten, Jämtland, and Västernorrland. Currently, about 120 people work in the region, distributed across management, operations, and support functions. The Sollefteå-Östersund district includes 15 operations technicians and an operations manager. The property portfolio is varied, including workshops, restaurants, barracks, vehicle wash facilities, cold garages, and similar. The operations district is responsible for performing inspections and maintenance and corrective maintenance within the district, as well as leading smaller projects, being an active participant in larger projects, and placing orders with contractors.

The role involves the responsibility of supervising five to six operations technicians and performing inspections and maintenance for property technical objects within the property portfolio. The properties are located within the operations district. The work involves regular contact with both customers, primarily the Armed Forces, and contractors. The position reports to the operations manager.

As a person, you are calm and stable and work well in pressured situations, as well as having the ability to make correct assessments and priorities. You are solution-oriented and collaborative, and you see the importance of clear dialogue and communication to build trust. You take responsibility for ensuring that the work is completed, structuring, prioritizing, and following up. To succeed in the role, you need to be persistent and engaged in driving your work forward.
